Reading this book had a way of touching places in my heart that needed a good "dusting off". By that I mean, I like ot think of myself as hopefully a good Christian but it's funny how many aspects of that we tend to overlook in our daily lives. Each time I would read a passage that touched one of those places I teared up and felt the Lord's presence in me all over again. It was really quite wonderful.Product details

Max Lucado gives awesome insight into God and spirituality. His books give new outlooks on many spiritual questions we all have without giving a sermon. He's positive, accepts that life is about making mistakes in life n how ALL those seemingly bad choices make us richer more spiritual people who will always be loved by God.
The content of the book is good, but part of it was in one line going down the middle of the page, really strange. The nook version must be messed up.
Max Lucado is an excellent story teller, and brings the Bible to life. If you don't understand what grace is, this would be a good book to read, just get it in paperback.
Superb follow up to Grace. Pastor Max Lucado explains and shows just who and what Grace is and means and how much we need it and how much God wants and is willing to give it.
Lucado, author of many great things, has written this small, seemingly innocent book about Grace. Do not be fooled by its size. This book, in the brief time it took me to read it, had a profound impact on my view of my Redeemer. Such a beautiful joy and peace that is found in Gods Grace. Sinner or saved, take the time to read it, you won't be sorry.
I found this book an easy read as with all of the books by Max Lucado. It made me think of my life in comparison to what the Bible says about the Grace of God. It is a must read for anyone who claims to know Christ! An excellent book for new believers!
This was a good, solid quick enhancement to Max Lucado's Grace series (book, study guide, devotional etc...). I would recommend reading this after you've read Grace, perhaps even a month later do the lessons from the main book will be refreshed and not lost. Praise God for Max Lucado's writing & teaching abilities!
I had never really understood what God's Grace was supposed to mean and reading these chapters made me feel chills of understanding. I have heard many of the emotionally damaging phrases Mr. Lucado mentions in his book, both in childhood and for the next 50 years in my own head. To think of Jesus standing in the presence of God sticking up for me, despite all my misteps, was almost more than I could take.
This is a short book, so you can read it over & over. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is still beating themselves up with the criticisms you heard in childhood.
